Measurements:
The size of the round-shaped body = The circumference is a bit above 26 inches, and the length is about 14 inches tall.
The size of the strap: It is nearly 9 inches long.
Here is the step-by-step process. Let’s see in details:
Step 1: Make The Foundation
At first, make a magic circle or a magic chain to use as a foundation. Then ch 3, which is the DC for this pattern. Now, into the ring space DC 11 and slip stitch in the 3rd ch. So, we will have a total of 12 st.
Step 2: Make The Body
- 1 dc and 1 dc into the same stitch. Now, 2 dc into the next stitch, and each stitches around. Sl st into the ch 3. So, in the end, we have a total of 24 stitches.
- Rep it and make a total of 36 stitches and for the next row, crochet the same way and make a total of 48 stitches so that you can make a rounder shape.
- For the next row, repeat the same process, aka, 1 dc, 1 dc, into the same stitch. Now, 2 dc into the next stitch, and each stitches around. Sl st into the ch 3, a total of 60 stitches. And for the next row, using the same process, a total of 72 stitches.
- Now, repeat this (72 stitches) for a total of 12 to 13 times to complete the body of the crochet tote bag.
Remember: Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the body of the crochet tote bag.
Step 3: Make The First Strap of The Crochet Tote Bag
