Step 1: Read The Cross Stitch Patterns Chart Properly And Patiently

A cross stitch pattern’s chart is like the heart of a system. It contains all of the information you will need to make the pattern work. So, pay attention to it even if you feel it is boring. 

In the chart, you will see some grids and different colored squares. The grids represent the grid on your Aida fabric or any fabric you are working with and each of the colored squares represents one cross stitch. The colors represent the real-life color that is, which color of thread you need to use for that stitch.

Step 2: Arrange The Fabric

Arrange a suitable fabric for the cross-stitch pattern. Usually, we use the Aida fabric. However, there are a few more options like an even weave or linen.
